2002 Estate Merlot

This wine has big fruit, supple tannin, and a lingering finish. This wine has a nose of red and black fruits that jump out of the glass. Strawberry jam, cranberry, candied fruits, toffee, caramel, fern, and licorice. The entry in the mouth is silky followed by a fat and round mid palate. A long and structured finsih lasting more than 50 seconds exudes lots of fruit and spices like nutmeg, allspice, and clove. This wine will achieve more smoothness and complexity in years to come.
